Let's build an Audrey fort!

So, what are two little boys to do when we have 3 snow days in a row and we run out of things to do? Let's build an Audrey fort! :)

Audrey liked her little "rain forest" as the boys called it. They decided they would be lions and tigers. (do they even live in rain forests??) Audrey sure is never bored with these boys, that's for sure! :)

For the most part she is patient with all of it. :)

She does have cute little feet in her little jumperoo! :)

Advent Calendars and robes!

So, today I told the boys, you can eat #10 on your advent calendars. It's a good thing I checked back with them because they thought I meant you can eat 10 DAYS on your calendars. Oops! Those little doors with chocolate behind them are sooo tempting though to little boys mouths! :) The boy's Dad's friend Sophie sent these to the boys all the way from Germany. She is so sweet for doing that. The boys really like her and miss seeing her and their Dad this year for Christmas. He is in Iraq, so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Check out Miss Audrey in her comfy slippers and robe! Bless her little heart she is just so stinkin cute. And she puts up with me dressing her up all of the time. Poor baby! We just had 3 snow days without school and I think I am officially ready to send them back to school. We had some serious cabin fever going on today so we had to get out of the house and rome around walmart for awhile. We were pretty desperate for human interaction and different sights. When they started beating each other up with their wii controllers today I had to take it away. Then there is only so much playing they can do outside in the 10 degree weather. I am glad they are going back tomorrow! :)

Hot Chocolate and Christmas lights!

This past weekend we put the boys to bed as usual. Had them brush their teeth, tucked them in, and turned on their snowman night light. Then we went downstairs and waited for them to quiet down and wind down. We got Audrey ready in her carseat and then went and said, "come on boys, get up, get your coats on, lets go!!!" We put them in the car and went and got hot chocolate and drove around looking at Christmas lights. It was so fun!

Here is Ethan saying good night to me in his bed. He is such a little ham.

Here are the boys when they first got in the van. Ethan said, "but I was just starting to fall asleep!!" ha!

A couple of weeks ago I got these 3D glasses at cracker barrell. When you look through them at Christmas lights you can see snowmen and "Merry Christmas." The boys loved them!

I think the boys just loved this. This is going to be a great tradition to carry on every year. Audrey even squealed and talked to us from her carseat.

We saw some great Christmas lights and had a great time! We even saw this house that was seriously done up like the Griswalds. They had a big "Make a wish" sign out in the yard and a donation box where you can give donations that go to the make a wish foundation. How cool is that! It even had all of the lights blink to the tune of a radio station that played Christmas music. Dusty laughed at me when I ran out of the car in my slippers and pj's and put money in their donation box. :) Good holiday times! :)

Audrey Patton is 6 months old!

Hey there little Audrey! What are you up to these days little lady? Besides lookin' so cute?

Well, she is about 15 lbs. She is still a little peanut. She still has only had breastmilk, cereal, squash, sweet potatoes, and avocado once. She absolutely loves her banana cereal with breastmilk. She also eats her baby mum mum's. She is an eater! :)

She is crawling, grabbing at stuff, sitting up, jumping up and down in her jumpy, and loves to play on the floor with her toys. I would say that is her favorite thing is to be on the floor and play with her toys. She loves her tummy time. We call her Rolie Polie Olie because she rolls around everywhere. She can be on one side of the room and completely roll over to the other side. We have to watch that pretty girl! :)

We just switched her to her 6-9 month clothes. This time it wasn't as hard as putting her in her 3-6 months clothes. I am sad that she is growing up so fast. I am enjoying every minute of it but I just want her to stay small and precious. But I try to find the silver lining in everything so this time I tried to think of all of her new 6-9 month clothes I can put on her. And you all know I looooooooove dressing Audrey up! :) These pictures were a fast photo shoot because I had just gotten off of work from my 12 hour night shift and I was so tired. I think she looks so cute in her little brown warm up suit. She has a little gymboree onesie on too and its so cute! Last year I got a ton of cute clothes from gymboree on clearance for 6-9 month clothes and I have been dying to dress her up in them and now I get my chance! :)

Audrey loves to smile and watch her older brothers. She loves to be held and I think we spoil her way too much on that. It is hard because we really want to spoil her and love on her all of the time but when she goes to the babysitter it doesn't work like that. :) My babysitter has a 5 month old named Avery, so she has to divide her time between Audrey and Avery as well as her 5 and 3 year old. She is absolutely wonderful though and we love her and her family and am so blessed that we have her. I am thankful every day that we have someone we completely trust watching Audrey.

She is finally getting her hair in more. It is so cute! I can't wait to put clippies in her hair someday. I can't believe I have a six month old! :)
